This Privacy Policy applies to all RealEasy services, including the User App, Merchant App, Delivery Partner App, websites, dashboards, and related services collectively referred to as the “Platform”.
By using RealEasy, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Profile Information
We may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, account identifier, and other details required to create, access, and manage your RealEasy account.
1.2 Login Information
RealEasy supports login using Google and Apple authentication services. When you sign in using Google or Apple, we may receive limited information such as your name, email address, profile information, and unique account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.
1.3 Order and Delivery Information
We collect information required to place, process, manage, and deliver orders. This may include order details, restaurant or merchant details, delivery address, delivery instructions, payment method, order status, invoices, refunds, support requests, and related transaction records.
1.4 Location Information
RealEasy collects location information only where it is required for Platform functionality and where the relevant permission has been granted.
- User App: location may be collected while using the app to show nearby merchants, calculate delivery distance, estimate delivery availability, and deliver orders.
- Delivery Partner App: foreground and background location may be collected to assign deliveries, track delivery progress, improve safety, provide order updates, and complete deliveries.
- Merchant App: the Merchant App does not collect location information for normal merchant use.
1.5 Device, App, and Usage Information
We may collect device and technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers, language settings, usage activity, log data, and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve RealEasy.
1.6 Camera, Photos, Gallery, Storage, and Microphone
Depending on the app and features used, RealEasy may request access to certain device permissions:
- User App: camera access may be used for profile-related features. Photo gallery or storage access may be used to upload or select images. Microphone access may be used where voice or audio-related features are provided.
- Merchant App: push notification permission may be used to send order, account, and service-related alerts.
- Delivery Partner App: camera access may be used for KYC, delivery proof, or related verification. Gallery access may be used to upload required images or documents. Push notifications may be used for delivery, account, and service-related alerts.
1.7 Communications and Support
If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address, message content, attachments, and any information required to understand and resolve your request.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create, verify, and manage accounts;
- Authenticate users through Google and Apple login;
- Process, manage, and deliver orders;
- Show relevant merchants, items, offers, and delivery availability;
- Assign delivery partners and track delivery progress;
- Send order updates, push notifications, and service-related alerts;
- Process payments, refunds, invoices, and transaction records;
- Provide customer, merchant, and delivery partner support;
- Improve app performance, reliability, safety, and user experience;
- Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and illegal activity;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and business obligations.
3. Payments
RealEasy supports payments through Cashfree and Cash on Delivery. Online payments are processed by Cashfree or other authorized payment service providers that may be added in the future.
We do not store full card numbers, UPI credentials, banking passwords, or other sensitive payment authentication details on our servers. Payment information is processed by the applicable payment provider according to its own privacy and security practices.
4. Push Notifications
RealEasy may send push notifications for order updates, delivery updates, merchant alerts, delivery partner tasks, account activity, service notices, and other Platform-related communications. You may control notification permissions through your device settings.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only where necessary to operate, provide, protect, or improve RealEasy.
- Merchants: to prepare, manage, and fulfill orders.
- Delivery partners: to pick up and deliver orders.
- Payment providers: to process online payments, refunds, and related transactions.
- Technology service providers: such as hosting, authentication, notification, mapping, storage, and support service providers.
- Legal and regulatory authorities: where required by law, legal process, regulation, or to protect our rights, users, partners, and Platform.
6. Third-Party Services
RealEasy may use third-party services such as Google login, Apple login, Cashfree payments, hosting providers, notification services, mapping services, and other technology providers required to operate the Platform.
These third-party services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of those services where applicable.
7. Analytics and Crash Reporting
RealEasy does not currently use analytics or crash reporting tools such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google Analytics. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy as required.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, maintain accounts, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Certain transaction, invoice, tax, accounting, safety, fraud prevention, or legal records may be retained even after account deletion where required or permitted by law.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, restrict, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw certain app permissions, such as location, camera, gallery, microphone, or notifications, through your device settings.
Please note that disabling certain permissions may affect some features of the Platform. For example, disabling location access may affect delivery availability, address selection, or delivery tracking.
11. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing us at info@real-easy.app.
We may ask for information to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. After verification, we will process the request in accordance with applicable law. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, or legitimate business purposes.
12. Children’s Privacy
RealEasy is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at info@real-easy.app, and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information where required.
13. International Data Processing
Information may be processed and stored on servers or systems located in India or other countries where our service providers operate. Where information is transferred or processed outside your location, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of RealEasy after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
